Actually, WE encountered 15 kids last Saturday. 4 of us, ( Oswin, Din, Bik Ee and me ), foreign students in this college went for a special interaction programme between foreign students-primary school children organized by local community center.
We slightly introduced our countries, taught them the game we used to play ( tenteng ) in our childhood, and had a Rasa Sayang singing session with those adorable kids. That’s the end of our 1 and half hour session with the kids. Sounds short and sweet right… Lets take a look at the pics..
Perhaps the children have been through lotsa country introduction session before..’ its just another lame introduction’ , they thought..
Din made a brief intro about Malaysia using a brief Power Point slide we made briefly…
One chalk does everything…The weather were killing me but the children’s laughters kept me going..;)
He fell when i captured this scene, coincidently. He survived the fall, ran back, and played for at least 10 times again and again.
Back into coziness.. The kids were enjoying their music chair game accompanied by Rasa Sayang song. Din as the guitarist and the rest of us sang. After the game the kids would sing the song together with us.
My cam is full of his pics posing with children. I picked this for show, because he really looked like a true brother in there…;p
Beauty and the beasts – the 3 naughtiest boys..
Our Rasa Sayang song was modified to make it easier for those kids, it sounds like this…
Rasa sayang eh rasa sayang sayang eh
eh lihat dari jauh rasa sayang sayang eh x3
なぜか分からないけど、今日は楽しかった
なぜか分からないけど、今日は幸せだった
Rasa sayang eh rasa sayang sayang eh
eh lihat dari jauh rasa sayang sayang eh
時間が短くても、とてもよかったよ
一緒に楽しめて、とても嬉しかったよ
Rasa sayang eh rasa sayang sayang eh
eh lihat dari jauh rasa sayang sayang eh
最後の言葉に、ありがとうございました
とても元気な皆、お疲れ様でした
Rasa sayang eh rasa sayang sayang eh
eh lihat dari jauh rasa sayang sayang eh x2
That’s it …for my friends who don’t speak Japanese — sorry my friend…;p
*Bik Ee, I don’t have ur pic here..forgive me ~~
